Dr.Dhanraj P Tambuskar

Dr. Dhanraj P. Tambuskar obtained his Bachelor of Engineering from RTM Nagpur University, a Master’s in Production Engineering from the University of Mumbai, and a Ph.D. in Technology from VJTI, Mumbai. Currently, he is serving as a Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at Sri Balaji University, Pune. With over 25 years of experience spanning teaching, research, and industry, he notably acted as Program Coordinator for Online Exams during the COVID-19 pandemic and a member of Board of Studies at the University of Mumbai.
Dr. Tambuskar’s research interests encompass Operations and Production Management, Supply Chain Analytics, Cellular Manufacturing, Lean/Agile Manufacturing Systems, Simulation and Optimization Techniques. He has guided one doctoral student and is currently supervising four more. He has published over 27 papers in reputed journals and serves as a reviewer for several academic publications, including the Journal of Operational Research Society of India and the International Journal of Industrial Engineering and Operations Management.
A National Council Member of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering, Dr. Tambuskar is also a Life Member of ISTE and a member of NHRDN and IISE USA. He has organized and participated in multiple Faculty Development Programs (FDPs), conducted sponsored research projects, and contributed to national and international conferences. He was awarded the Best Paper Award at the 62nd National Convention of the Indian Institution of Industrial Engineering and has created educational videos for the NPTEL SWAYAM platform.
