Dr. Archana Shrivastava
Dr. Archana Shrivastava is currently working as Director- Balaji Institute of Modern Management and HOD- PM & HRD, Sri Balaji University Pune. She is a professional having a diverse experience of 27 years. She pursued her education in the field of Electronics and Telecom Engineering and later did MBA with a specialization in HR. She was awarded the Doctoral degree in the area of Employee Engagement. Dr. Archana Shrivastava has the distinction of having taught at leading B schools across India. Her areas of research interest in which she has published papers, articles and case studies include employee engagement, leadership, human capital, organizational stress and organizational behaviour. She has authored three books titled- Human Resource Management, Human Relations and HR Analytics. Her initiative for developing Indian case studies rooted in indigenous issues and challenges and innovative solutions to surmount them won her the 2nd prize for her case “Organization Churn for a Creamy Future” in CII EdgeFarm – HR Case Study Writing Competition. A passionate researcher she has published case studies with Emerald Emerging Market Case studies, Sage Publication and Emerging Web of Science indexed journals. She won the Gold Medal for conceptualizing and delivering HR Analytics Course under the Weschool Innovation Award 2023 Category at the 34th National Convention of Association Of Indian Management Schools (AIMS) at Coimbatore. Dr Shrivastava has conducted many workshops on HR Analytics and a joint certification program on HR Analytics by Sri Balaji University and the apex HR body-National Human Resource Development Network (NHRDN). She has worked extensively in conceptualizing, implementing and evaluating skill and competency building initiatives to enhance the employability of management students. Dr. Archana Shrivastava is also a Research Guide at Sri Balaji University Pune. She firmly believes human resource management is the fuel that can propel ordinary people to achieve extra ordinary result.
